The Rules
1. The Horse always makes the rules.
2. The rules are subject to change at any time without prior notification
3. No rider can possibly know all the rules.
4. If the horse suspects that a rider knows all the rules, he must immediately change some or all of the rules.
5. The horse is never wrong.
6. If the horse is wrong, it is because of a flagrant misunderstanding which was a direct result of something that the rider did or said wrong.
7. If rule #6 applies, the rider must apologize immediately and profusely and feed many carrots for causing the misunderstanding
8. The horse can change his mind at any given point in time.
9. The rider can never change his mind without the consent of the horse.
10. The horse has every right to be angry or upset at any time.
11. The rider must remain calm unless the horse wants him to be angry or upset.
12. The horse must, under no circumstances, let the rider know whether or not be angry or upset.
13. If the horse has not been fed, all rules are null and void.
